Alleged Statement

I like stimulation.

Thrills Chills and Flash.

I like ideas. I paint pictures in order to broadcast ideas. After mastering classical art, manufactured objects spoke to me. I started painting pictures of Talking Objects. Then after a few near death experiences, I started painting pictures of Speed. This subject requires a lot of research. Fast cars, motorcycles, roller coasters. You see I like stimulation.

I am an expert - ask me anything.

I can get many various ideas across with the Paintings of Speed. Stories, concepts, experiences etc., but they were always concrete ideas. I needed to depict more abstract concepts in order to keep up with the profound nature of today's contemporary Art.

Then the Graphs. Graphs of Qualitative Data. Action over time. I can depict many more subjects with the graph method than by painting representational pictures of clowns or flowers. But the graphs are representational, they are actually three dimensional. Real.

I have never been very interested in fiction. Now I am making the Drift paintings. They do everything I want to do with brush paintings. Beautiful.

This evolution has been good for me. I am able to broadcast even more ideas, some profound, some revealing, some stimulating.

So take a minute and look. Get a new idea of your own and tell somebody. Enjoy.

Thanks for your interest,

Brian Miller
